Now headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, the Robert Mason Company features office supplies and accessories that are either designed by Robert himself (or curated by Robert from around the globe) that will inspire you to do your best work, have fun and look good doing it.”
Here are some useful tips to keep in mind when trying to build a visual brand identity. More at Canva.com.
“Your brand identity is defined by how your audience perceives you. A long-standing analogy is to view your brand as a person. Let’s take it one step further and view your brand as a friend to your audience. And, instead of seeing your audience as a nameless, faceless crowd, focus on the one, ideal person that you’re targeting, or befriending, with your brand.”

With every brand there’s a story. And to be relatable to the masses, you’d need a good story to tell.
“Good stories leave a lasting impression. Even if the audience can’t remember exact details, years down the road, they will still remember if it was “awesome,” “horrible,” “sad,” “funny,” and even to what degree of emotion the story evoked. Brands who have a strong story provide the same long term results as a movie or story. And just as with a poor or boring story that is easily forgotten, a brand without a stand out story is quickly forgotten and replaced.”
Lazy S Innovations began as a search for a natural alternative to starting fires for grilling and campfires. With no such products available the owners, Scott and Aimee, sought out to find a solution of their own. They began their own line of Natural Fire Starters. These fire starters are made with re-purposed newspaper, local beeswax, and cooking grade oil. If you’re in need of some inspiration, here is a showcase of websites that make great use of colors in their design. Check them all out here.
“Coming up with the right color palette for a web design can be one of the most important parts of the design process, and also one of the most difficult. Usually existing branding has the biggest influence on what colors are used, but other factors can come into play as well.”
