The Challenge

Foundations wanted to redesign their company website and develop a design that would be versatile and flexible enough to be used for each of their nursing homes. They wanted a unified look and feel across all the facilities they manage but wanted each website to be branded uniquely to the nursing home. In addition to wanting a new design for all their websites, the Foundations team wanted to streamline and improve their management software including custom scheduling for staff and management, reporting software, financial tracking modules, data collection, content, and permissions management.

Foundations Health Solutions contacted the Robintek team because of our experience serving the long-term care community, and healthcare industry. We were uniquely able to address the challenges they faced managing over 50 different nursing homes in Ohio, each with their own website. We worked with the Foundations team to implement a strategic web design and development plan to overhaul their company website and management tools, and create and implement a new custom template for each of their nursing home’s websites.

Custom Long-Term Care Management Website Design

We created a clean, inviting website design focused on user experience. The design also needed to be versatile as it would be used as a template for all of Foundations nursing home’s websites. The design featured large, eye catching imagery, simple, clear navigation, and brand specific highlight colors and imagery.

Custom Scheduling Module

We created a custom scheduling module so that departments can generate and share their schedules (daily/weekly/monthly) with their staff. The staff can also request off, pick up shifts, etc. This saves them time in generating new schedules (with copy functions) and also centralizes the scheduling for their organization. It enables the organization leaders to easily see staffing shortfalls.

Industry specific Content Management System (CMS)

We have created a Content Management System (CMS), specifically designed to meet the needs of the Continuing Care Retirement Communities including nursing homes, assisted living, and senior care. This system is easy to manage and customize to fit the needs of Foundations Health Solutions. The CMS has built in tools for easy updates and management of website content and messaging, and includes additional management resources and modules.

Custom Financial Tracking Modules

We built departmental financial reporting tools to make it easier and faster for department heads to track and report their expenditures

Custom Account Management Modules

These modules enable the Foundations team to create user accounts with tiered access at both the facility and department level. This allows them to create an account and grant access to specific facilities and specific departments within a facility.
