Mathers Environmental Science Services (MESS) became an LLC in 2010. In 2015, MESS became a full-time endeavor for Dr. Hannah Mathers who previously had worked almost 15 years at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Mathers Environmental produce seeds of over 100 common weed species for agricultural research, weed technology field and container trials and agrochemical screening. They also work with chemical companies, non-profit trade organizations, nursery and landscape growers and IR-4 to improve weed control application technologies, timing of applications and weed control practices in nursery fields, landscapes and nursery containers. Mathers Environmental’s long-term goals are to reduce waste and phytotoxicity while optimizing efficacy.
