Logo Design and Website Redesign
Robintek recently partnered with Rose Run Presbyterian Church for a full branding update and website redesign. This comprehensive project was rooted in the church’s desire to modernize its visual identity, better reflect its mission and values, and create a more functional, welcoming digital experience for both current members and new visitors.
Building a Brand That Reflects a Welcoming Community
The project began with a full branding refresh, including the design of a new logo and visual identity. Rose Run wanted a logo that truly represented the spirit of their church; one that was welcoming, compassionate, and timeless. Our design team worked closely with Karen and her team at Rose Run to bring this vision to life.
The final logo features a clean, modern design that incorporates the symbolism of the cross, held and supported by a stylized hand. The san serif font offers clarity and readability, while the color palette, a blend of energetic blue, teal, and gold, balances vibrancy with professionalism. The logo is versatile, with options that include the icon alone, the full logo with text, and variations with or without their tagline. This flexibility ensures the branding looks great across print and digital applications.
Designing a Website for Connection, Communication, and Community
Once the new branding was finalized, we moved on to redesigning the Rose Run website. The team at Rose Run wanted the site to do more than just look good, it needed to serve as a marketing tool, a resource hub, and a gateway to their community. They envisioned a vibrant and energetic website that welcomed new visitors, engaged current members, and supported key church functions like donations and events.
Our design team focused on creating a homepage that’s both inviting and functional. Featuring bold imagery, warm branding accents, and intuitive calls to action, the site draws visitors in and guides them to relevant information. Strategic design choices, such as prominent CTAs, clean layouts, and thoughtful whitespace, help communicate Rose Run’s story and mission while making navigation easy for all users.
Key Features and Custom Functionality
The redesigned site includes several custom features to support the needs of the church:
Events Calendar: A dynamic and easy-to-update calendar that helps members stay informed about upcoming worship services, events, and ministry opportunities.
Donation Page: A new giving page that provides a straightforward and secure way for members and visitors to support the church financially.
Visitor-Centered Pages: Dedicated sections for new visitors, including what to expect, how to get involved, and how to connect with others in the Rose Run community.
The navigation and sitemap were restructured to improve user experience, with clear pathways to content related to worship, serving opportunities, church events, and giving.
Built for Flexibility and Ease of Use
To support the church’s ongoing needs, we built the new Rose Run website on the WordPress platform. This gives the Rose Run team the flexibility to manage and update the site themselves, which was a top priority. We provided full training to empower their team to confidently update pages, post events, and manage content without needing to rely on outside help, though, of course, Robintek is always here if they need us.
The new website is also mobile-friendly and fully responsive, ensuring a seamless experience for users across devices. With WordPress’s built-in SEO tools and flexibility, the church is set up for success in future digital outreach efforts.
